These Terms and Conditions govern your use of cariproject.com and any purchase you make from Cari Project LLC. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Cari Project LLC is a women-owned small business based in Michigan. We make and sell the Cari Pepper Spray Pocket, a wearable system designed to give active women faster access to their personal defense tools. You can reach us at hello@cariproject.com.

2. Products

Our products are handcrafted in the USA in small batches. Product descriptions, photos, and compatibility information on our site are as accurate as we can make them, but minor variations may occur (for example, magnet hardware may ship in silver or bronze).

Pepper spray is not included with any Cari Project purchase. We do not sell pepper spray.

We make reasonable efforts to keep inventory current, but if an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you promptly.

3. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

We accept payment through the methods shown at checkout. All prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time; the price shown at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or errors in pricing or product information.

4. Shipping

Orders ship within 3 to 5 business days of purchase. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances outside our control.

5. Returns and Exchanges

If your Cari Pepper Spray Pocket does not fit right, contact us within 30 days of delivery at hello@cariproject.com. We will work with you to troubleshoot your setup and offer a size exchange where applicable.

Because our products are handmade in small batches, we handle returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis with the goal of making things right. We are committed to finding a solution that works for you.

6. Compatibility and Intended Use

The Cari Pepper Spray Pocket is designed for use with wire-free bras and most standard cylindrical pepper spray canisters. Compatibility information is listed on our product page. If you are unsure whether your bra or spray will work, email us before purchasing at hello@cariproject.com.

Cari Project is not affiliated with any pepper spray manufacturer. We do not sell pepper spray, and we do not provide legal advice regarding pepper spray laws in your state or jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable laws before purchasing or carrying pepper spray.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products are sold as-is. While we stand behind the quality of our work, we make no warranties, express or implied, that the Cari Pepper Spray Pocket will prevent injury, harm, or any specific outcome in any situation. Personal safety products are not a substitute for situational awareness, training, or other safety measures.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cari Project LLC disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cari Project LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our products or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on cariproject.com, including text, photos, graphics, and product designs, is owned by Cari Project LLC or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission. Our product is patent pending.

10. User Conduct

By using this site, you agree not to:
